On the Podcast this week:
Dashing through the (We) Ho are three delivery robots in a Pink Dot x Postmates collab. We are the first city in the United States to have these cheeky machines delivering your bottle of wine. Stay tuned as WKWH gets the inside scoop on this futuristic partnership. In the meantime …
Let’s Eat
Burgers: Last week, Tracy began her love affair with the juicy burger. This week I ordered Hi Ho Burger and fell in love with the Key Lime Pie. Also spotted Burger Daddy (a pop up at The Naughty Pig) on the Sunset Strip.
Sunset Strip: Justin Quesos joins Prince Street Pizza up on the Sunset Strip as a new offering. We wish all these new businesses great success (including Madre on the East Side of town). I haven’t been to any of these yet but I see the massive lines whenever I’m driving the Strip.
Holiday Treats: Eggnog from the Melrose Umbrella Company, all the things at Cake Monkey, weekend brunch a the London Hotel (it’s the poached lobster and Belvedere Bloody Mary’s for me!), tamales from Gracias Madres.
Italian: The partially cooked pizza at Pizzana (finish it at home in your oven!), Bossa Nova for the Family Dinner. For those of you that don’t know, Bossa Nova is one of my weaknesses.
Let’s Chat
Special Guest: Lauren and Tracy sit down with Pink Dot CEO Sol Yamini. He owns and runs one of the few businesses actually thriving in the pandemic. I love how he is constantly pivoting and this interview is a must listen for fresh new business strategies including his love for partnering with other brands (looking at you Postmates), launching new brands and supporting local brands like: Cake & Art cupcakes, Zooies cookies, Nonna’s Empanadas, JaJa Tequila, the Pink Dot sandwhiches made fresh in their kitchen on fresh bread from Normandie Bakery, Gelato Festival (coming through with a signature flavor), and Alfred Coffee.
Let’s Shop
Amazon Pop Up: Curating all things Alexa at the moment. This sits on the corner of my block, actually quite close to Lauren too. But it is Sunset Strip based Tracy who visits that spot most often.
Vanity Girl Hollywood: 40% off my travel mirrors and more (duh, shameless plug always). Although created as a travel mirror, it’s also great for staycations and sleepovers.
WeHo Chamber Gift Guide: Shop WeHo Retailers and support our local businesses. Leslie is doing a great job at keeping it updated.
Let’s Reset
Dr. Refresh x Petit Ermitage: We loved meeting Chris in a previous WKWH episode, and it’s exciting to see him collaborate with Petit to offer weary visitors a luxury reset stay.

Let’s Leave the Village
Beverly Hills: Sunday morning I popped โnext doorโ to see the fashion-themed holiday decor along Rodeo Drive with Rachel of @lovelyinLA. We went early in the morning of course so as to avoid the crowds.
Stranger Things Drive Into Experience: Friday night I visited the immersive experience based on the cult show at an 80โs takeover at The Row DTLA last Friday night. Pro tip – if you havenโt watched the show, YouTube the season recaps – it will make a difference.
Holiday Road: A Drive Through Experience: Tracyโs love of all things magically twinkling was met at King Gillette Ranch in Malibu. She of course would have preferred to see it on a horse, or a unicorn.
Stay tuned for next week’s episode of WeKnow WeHo and make sure to follow on me on Instagram for more of my West Hollywood life, quarantine style at the moment of course.
xx
